Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concession Manager to oversee daily operations at our food service location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient service flow to provide an outstanding experience for our guests. Previous restaurant management, supervisory experience, and familiarity with food handling and POS systems are highly desirable.
Duties
- Supervise daily concession operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving
- Manage and train staff on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures
- Oversee cash handling and Micros POS transactions accurately and securely
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment
- Lead team meetings, conduct interviews, and assist in hiring new team members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concession area
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and guest experience
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Ability to supervise staff effectively, including interviewing and training new employees
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling procedures, and restaurant experience
- Cash handling expertise with attention to accuracy and security
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
