We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Coding Instructor to join our dynamic educational team. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive coding lessons tailored to diverse student skill levels
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and coding exercises that align with curriculum goals
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and perseverance
- Provide personalized feedback to students to support their growth and understanding of programming concepts
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment for all participants
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continuously improve course content and delivery methods
Qualifications
- College diploma or university degree with prior experience.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience in teaching or tutoring coding or related technical subjects
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Web development - HTML/CSS styling, and Scratch
- Passion for education and empowering learners through technology
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Ability to motivate students and foster a supportive learning environment
- Nice-to-have: Experience working with diverse age groups or in informal educational settings
Schedule
- Tuesday: 4:30 PM – 6:40 PM
- Thursday: 4:30 PM – 6:40 PM
- Saturday: 10:30 AM - 12:40 PM
