Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Electrician to learn and grow within our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience and technical knowledge while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will play a key role in assisting with various electrical tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Participate in troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing solutions under supervision.
- Observe and follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Handle tools and materials necessary for electrical work, including wiring, conduits, and fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Complete training and educational requirements as outlined by your apprenticeship program.
Qualifications:
- 3rd or 4th year Saskatchewan apprenticeship.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in the electrical field.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Proficient in handling hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
