JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: AZ/ DZ Truck Driver
Department: Construction
Reports to: Site Superintendent
Position Start Date: ASAP
Job Summary:
AZ/DZ Driver will be responsible for transporting equipment in a safe and timely manner to & from job sites. Cooperation with the Site Supervisor, crew and third parties is necessary to ensure satisfactory completion of construction work. Live bottom will be responsible hauling material from quarry to site. Working with our shouldering crew and Midland operator. 18 Speed experience is required.
Essential Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Transportation of equipment to & from job sites.
- Daily circle check and maintenance requirement reporting
- Completion of daily field ticket reports.
- Ability to back the truck up in a traffic situation with one lane closure.
- Experience in a road construction environment is preferred.
- Ensure safety of fellow workmen during construction and in compliance with applicable regulations and safety policies and procedures.
- Inform Site Superintendent of any issues that need to be communicated
- Out of town work required
- Monday – Friday work day shift
Qualifications:
- AZ/DZ Driver License is required
- Bobcat/Skid steer foot control work is an asset
- Experience with 15 and 18 speed trucks is required
- 3 + years driving experience is needed for Insurance purposes
- Construction experience is an asset

- operating a DZ or AZ licensed vehicle: 3 years (required)
- Float driving: 1 year (required)
- 18 Speed: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
