The VEC is currently seeking an experienced Client Service Rep to join our team. The schedule will consist of overnight hours.
Reception - Main Job Responsibilities
- Answer Phones, direct calls, take messages
- Register clients and patients upon arrival in the ER
- Admit patients using standard admit procedures, including securing appropriate deposit
- Discharge patients using standard discharge procedures
- Fax/Email medical history or case summary to Referring Veterinarians
- Confirm accuracy of client and patient information
- Prepare medical charts and files
- Maintain a clean working environment - including reception desk and client waiting room
- Book appointments for referral services and fax/email appropriate referral forms
- Provide Clients and referring veterinarians with information regarding VEC services
- Understand the triage definition and call for a triage technician when necessary
- Follow through with pet Insurance forms
