We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and a passion for restoring vehicles to their original condition. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. Responsibilities
- Repair and replace damaged body panels, frames, and other structural components of vehicles.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working in the shop environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar mechanic role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to automotive repair.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
- Dealership experience is a plus but not mandatory.
