Project Overview
Gigpass is a live event membership service, and summer in Toronto is our absolute peak season. We are seeking an autonomous, culturally plugged-in Video Content Creator to own our short-form visual storytelling from June through August.
Your mission is simple: capture the raw, electric energy of Toronto’s live event scene and translate it into high-performing short-form video. As an independent contractor, you will have complete creative freedom over your workflow, executing a consistent monthly video package that drives brand hype and subscriber growth.

- Want to make it sleek, aesthetic, and cool? Let's do it.
- Want to make it chaotic, funny, or completely unhinged? We are down to try it.
- The Catch: You need to be analytical about it. We want a creator who treats content like a scientist. Let’s pitch wild ideas, look at the data and retention metrics after they drop, see what actually moves the needle, and double down on what wins. Additionally, we do not post Generative AI content to our social media, so we will pass on any AI content creators.

Monthly Deliverables & Scope of Work
Rather than tracking hours, your contract performance is tied to the successful execution of a monthly video package. You will independently manage and deliver:
- Short-Form Video Production: Produce 10–12 high-quality TikToks/Reels per month focusing on local event culture, concert experiences, and the benefits of using Gigpass in Toronto. All content will be posted on Gigpass’ official social media channels.
- On-Site Content Capture: Attend select live events across Toronto to capture crisp, engaging vertical b-roll, crowd reactions, and venue highlights.
- Content Calendar: Maintain a rolling monthly calendar ensuring a strategic, highly active posting cadence across our video channels.
Requirements & Tools
- Portfolio: A strong creative drive generating short-form video (TikTok/Reels) that shows an understanding of audio trends, hooks, and modern live-event aesthetics. (Personal accounts or passion projects are completely valid!)
- Hardware & Software: You must provide your own production toolkit (high-end mobile device or camera rig), editing software, and laptop.
- Local Proximity: Must be based in the Greater Toronto Area with the flexibility to attend evening or weekend events for content capture.
- Independence: Exceptional project management skills. You know how to hit deadlines and execute a content strategy without needing to be micromanaged.
