Now hiring Lead Barista
The Coffee Exchange, a locally owned specialty coffeehouse located in the heart of downtown Windsor -- and proudly voted Windsor’s Best Coffeehouse, is now hiring a Lead Barista/Shift Supervisor.
Position Details:
This role offers approximately 30 to 35 hours per week (depending on applicant’s availability) and is primarily for afternoon and weekend shifts.
What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and conscientious
- Able to learn new tasks quickly while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Previous food service experience is preferred

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their orders
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and food items
- Operate the POS system efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Communicate effectively with staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet customer needs
- Ability to direct others on-shift and ensure the shift operates efficiently
