Roots and Wings Heritage House Montessori School is seeking an exceptional Montessori professional ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.
This is not just a classroom leadership role. As our Montessori Director, you will provide the overall educational and operational leadership of Heritage House Montessori while guiding our authentic Casa Program (ages 3–6).
Working alongside our leadership team, you'll mentor educators, partner with families, strengthen Montessori excellence and help shape the future of one of Surrey's established Montessori communities.

Heritage House Preschool is part of Roots & Wings, an established early learning organization serving Surrey families for over 40 years.
Our Heritage House campus is home to an authentic Montessori Casa Program where children develop independence, confidence and a lifelong love of learning through a carefully prepared environment and respectful relationships.

What You'll Lead
- Champion authentic Montessori philosophy throughout our Casa Program.
- Maintain the integrity of the prepared environment.
- Coach educators toward excellence.
- Lead the overall day-to-day operations of Heritage House.
- Foster a collaborative, positive school culture.
- Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, mentor and develop educators.
- Build strong partnerships with families.
- Maintain licensing and Montessori standards.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who leads with humility, professionalism and kindness—someone who believes authentic Montessori education extends beyond the classroom and understands that developing educators is just as important as developing children.
- Holds an AMI, AMS or MACTE-recognized Montessori Casa credential.
- Has at least five years' experience in an authentic Montessori Casa environment.
- Has experience mentoring or leading educators.
- Is an exceptional communicator who builds trust with families and colleagues.
- Believes leadership is about developing people.
- Is passionate about authentic Montessori education and lifelong learning.
