We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead the operations of a 400,000 sq. ft. high-volume distribution facility serving large national and multinational customers. This role is responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, transportation coordination, labor management, safety, continuous improvement, and customer service performance.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience managing large-scale warehouse operations, and the ability to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in both English and French is required to support customers, employees, and stakeholders across Canada.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Leadership
- Manage day-to-day operations of a 400,000 sq. ft. distribution center.
- Lead all warehouse functions including:
- Receiving
- Put-away
- Inventory Control
- Picking
- Packing
- Shipping
- Returns Processing
- Cross-Docking
- Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
- Develop and execute warehouse operating plans to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Drive operational efficiency while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Customer Management
- Act as the primary operational contact for key strategic accounts.
- Manage relationships with large-volume customers and ensure service commitments are consistently achieved.
- Participate in customer business reviews and operational meetings.
- Address escalated customer concerns and implement corrective action plans.
- Support new customer onboarding and business growth initiatives.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead a workforce of approximately 75–200+ warehouse associates, supervisors, and team leads depending on operational volume.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop warehouse personnel.
- Conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
- Build a culture focused on accountability, engagement, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Manage labor planning and staffing requirements to align with operational demand.
Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory accuracy targets of 99%+.
- Oversee cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement root-cause corrective actions.
- Monitor inventory aging, damaged inventory, and shrinkage.
- Ensure proper inventory control procedures are followed.
Transportation & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation activities.
- Work closely with carriers, freight providers, and customers.
- Optimize dock scheduling and freight flow.
- Manage transportation costs while maintaining service standards.
- Monitor on-time shipment performance and carrier KPIs.

Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional designations such as:
- CSCMP
- APICS/ASCM
- CPIM
- CLTD
- Lean Six Sigma
Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive warehouse and distribution experience.
- Minimum 5+ years managing large-scale warehouse operations.
- Experience managing facilities of 250,000+ sq. ft. preferred.
- Experience supporting high-volume retail, consumer goods, food & beverage, e-commerce, manufacturing, or 3PL environments.
- Proven experience managing large customer accounts with demanding service requirements.
- Experience leading teams of 75+ employees.
Technical Skills

Language Requirements
