Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Residential HVAC Technician to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee complex heating, ventilation, and air conditioning projects, lead a team of technicians, and ensure the highest standards of workmanship. Your mechanical expertise will drive successful installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential HVAC systems while mentoring junior staff and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose complex HVAC system issues utilizing schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical knowledge
- Troubleshoot HVAC, and other mechanical tasks as required
- Interpret technical schematics and diagrams to troubleshoot systems effectively
- Supervise and mentor junior technicians to promote skill development and ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and safety documentation in compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with clients to explain system operations and provide expert recommendations for upgrades or repairs
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic or technician within the HVAC industry with a strong mechanical background
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques
- Skilled in plumbing, welding, boiler servicing, appliance repair, construction experience, and reading schematics
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with maintenance tasks across various systems
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Relevant certifications in HVAC technology; additional skills in plumbing or welding are highly desirable

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
