Job Overview
We are seeking an organized, proactive and compassionate Veterinary Practice Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary hospital. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of veterinary office management, and the ability to coordinate administrative functions efficiently. This role is vital in ensuring smooth clinic operations, exceptional client service, and effective team management. The Practice Administrator will play a key role in maintaining compliance with industry standards and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily hospital operations and administrative functions.
- Lead, supervise and support employees.
- Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant veterinary, health, safety and employment regulations.
- Coordinate with veterinary staff to facilitate smooth clinical workflows and patient care.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and inventory levels to optimize operational efficiency.
- Implement policies and procedures aligned with industry standards for veterinary practice management.
- Handle client inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Assist in developing marketing strategies to promote the practice’s services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office management, preferably within veterinary practices.
- Strong understanding of human resources principles and supervising experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to veterinary medicine or hospital environments.
- Experience with budgeting, financial management, and inventory control.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership qualities with experience supervising teams of administrative and clinical staff.
- Knowledge of veterinary practice operations is considered an asset.
- Ability to adapt to evolving industry standards and technology advancements.

Pay: $65,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
