POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Manager, the Operations Assistant is responsible for reception and logistics at the Socceroof soccer center. Their mission is to ensure the opening and closing of the center, maintain cleanliness and safety, and contribute to the daily operations and management of the facility. They ensure that events and activities run smoothly within the center.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the opening and closing of the center, following established procedures.
- Welcome customers and provide them with necessary information and services.
- Process payments using appropriate computer systems.
- Guide customers within the center, directing them to locker rooms, fields, dining areas, etc.
- Enforce the center's rules, intervening in cases of non-compliance or conflict.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of facilities and equipment by performing regular checks and reporting any malfunction or anomaly.
- Participate in inventory and order management, following the instructions of the manager or assistant manager.
- Ensure the smooth running of events and activities, coordinating logistics as needed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of customer experience standards.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- In-depth knowledge of soccer environments and processes (an asset).
- Knowledge of the soccer market in Etobicoke/Toronto (an asset).
- Knowledge of Pickleball & Basketball (an asset).
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Compensation based on experience and the Socceroof center's coordination position pay scale.
- On-site work.
- Flexible work schedule (day and/or evening).
