Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in system design, project management, and data analysis. This role involves developing and optimizing engineering solutions across manufacturing and construction projects, utilizing advanced CAD tools and programming languages. The Engineer will play a critical role in research, system integration, and technical problem-solving to support our company's growth and technological advancement.
Duties
- Design, analyze, and develop mechanical systems using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Create detailed schematics and system layouts for manufacturing and construction projects.
- Manage engineering projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
- Utilize scripting languages like Python, C++, and MATLAB for automation, data collection, and analysis tasks.
- Develop control systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation processes.
- Conduct research and experiments in laboratory settings to validate design concepts and improve existing systems.
- Perform data collection, analysis, and interpretation to inform engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on system design, integration, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations throughout all phases of project development.
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering with a strong foundation in system design and project management.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and related schematics creation tools.
- Hands-on laboratory experience or research background in engineering environments preferred.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, construction principles, and systems engineering methodologies.
- Programming skills in Python, C++, MATLAB, or scripting languages relevant to automation and data analysis.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and control system development.
- Strong mathematical skills including calculus, algebra, and statistical analysis for technical problem solving.
- Experience working with data collection tools, data analysis techniques, and research methodologies is advantageous. Pay: $85,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
