Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Assist with food plating and garnishing to ensure attractive presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours to ensure smooth service flow
- Adhere to portion control standards and minimize waste
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
Requirements
- Prior food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in cooking or food preparation roles
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
