Adecco is currently hiring a Store Clerk Assistant for a full-time contract opportunity in Ottawa, ON. In this position, you will support aircraft maintenance operations by managing parts inventory, distributing tools and materials, and ensuring mechanics have access to the components they need to keep operations running efficiently.

Responsibilities

Distribute parts and tools to aircraft mechanics as required.

Search and locate parts using internal inventory systems.

Receive, stock, and organize inventory within the parts department.

Coordinate part orders through the purchasing department.

Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.

Assist with inventory control and material tracking activities.

Communicate with mechanics and other departments to ensure timely availability of required parts.

Support warehouse organization and housekeeping activities.

Handle and move parts and materials safely within the facility.

Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Previous experience in a parts, inventory, warehouse, or logistics environment is considered an asset.

Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.

Must possess and wear CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear.

Must be able to successfully pass a criminal record check.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
