Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate main duty will be processing customer orders: take order, take payment, and serve the food/drink. Other duties include but not limited to assisting in food preparation and ensure the kitchen operates smoothly. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment while supporting the cooks and chefs in meal preparation.
Duties
- Process customer orders from the beginning to end
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Support cooks in meal preparation by following instructions and ensuring timely service.
- Handle food safely by adhering to food safety guidelines and regulations.
- Assist in stocking supplies and inventory management to ensure the kitchen is well-equipped.
- Participate in cleaning tasks at the end of shifts to maintain a hygienic work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous customer service experience: professional, polite and trustworthy
- Previous experience with POS System
- Previous experience in a kitchen 1 year or more
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety standards is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced cooks and chefs.

- Legally to work in Canada
Working days/hours:
- Monday to Friday, no stats holidays
- Occasionally weekend (holiday parties)
- 7 AM to 2 PMish
- 35-40 hours per week
