Overview
We are a Canada-based B2B AI startup building technology products for the beauty and wellness service industry. We are currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support brand growth, content marketing, user acquisition, local merchant outreach, and day-to-day marketing execution.
This role is suitable for someone who is hands-on, organized, comfortable working in a startup environment, and able to support both digital marketing and local business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bilingual social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu / RedNote, WeChat, and blog content
- Support SEO / GEO, content marketing, brand awareness, and online visibility initiatives
- Assist with user growth activities, including lead generation, outreach tracking, conversion follow-up, and growth performance reporting
- Support local merchant outreach, including business research, initial communication, trade show / event support, and follow-up
- Participate in marketing projects such as webinars, marketing automation, email campaigns, and CRM-related workflows
- Assist with basic graphic design, content layout, marketing materials, and promotional asset organization
- Track market data, user feedback, campaign performance, and growth results
- Provide daily administrative and marketing support as needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of marketing experience in North America
- Fluent English communication skills, with strong written and verbal communication ability
- Experience with SEO / GEO, social media management, and digital marketing
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu / RedNote, WeChat, blogs, and other content platforms
- Basic understanding of user growth, lead conversion, and local business outreach
- Strong communication skills and willingness to participate in both online marketing execution and local merchant outreach
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to execute quickly in a startup environment
- Must be based in Canada and legally eligible to work in Canada
Nice to Have
- Experience with SaaS, AI, platform-based products, or B2B technology
- Experience with local business outreach, business development, partnerships, or event support
- Graphic design, content production, or video editing ability
- Experience with webinars, CRM tools, marketing automation tools, or email campaign platforms
- Experience working in a startup or small-team environment
- Additional language skills are an asset, especially Chinese due to our target market and content channels
Work Arrangement
- Full-time or part-time options available
- Remote-first at the early stage
- Hybrid / on-site may be required later as the project grows; GTA-based candidates are preferred
- Direct collaboration with the founder and core team
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
