Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and dependable Driver to join our team. Hiring drivers for California runs and Mid West (TN OK and LA). The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and equipment, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing various skills including commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight, heavy equipment, and other materials to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation duties
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
