Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, food safety, and providing a positive dining experience for guests. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in the food industry and grow within our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Cook and assemble menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing surfaces and utensils
- Handle food safely in compliance with health regulations and safety standards
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety of all meals served
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in the food industry demonstrates strong serving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food safety standards
Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
