Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year (based on experience)
- Process and maintain financial statements, including completion of monthly Financial Statement packages for ownership.
- Support the enhancement and continued development of financial statement presentation and analytical reporting to provide stronger operational and business insights.
- Maintain month-end/year-end paperwork and assist with inventory analysis as required.
- Complete monthly reconciliations of all accounts, including GL reconciliations as required.
- Maintain organized filing systems to support bookkeeping and financial records.
- Process Government remittances, including HST filings (monthly and quarterly).
- This role offers the opportunity to move beyond transactional accounting into more analytical, value-added financial responsibilities with increasing ownership and exposure.
- Maintain daily bank reconciliations across 4 bank accounts (2 USD and 2 CDN).
- Ensure compliance with approved credit line limits and assist with managing company cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Coordinate payroll funding and other operational payments through AR settlements and banking activities.
- Assist in monitoring cash flow, payment timing, and overall working capital utilization to support operational decision-making.
- Any CAPEX payments to be drawn from approved CAPEX loans through banking partners.
- Print cheques from the ERP system and prepare wire/EFT templates on the bank portal for final approval by authorized signatories.
- Transfer funds between USD and CDN accounts as required.
- Provide oversight and review of bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely completion (Ceridian experience is considered an asset).
- Support payroll reconciliations, government remittances, WSIB reporting, pension contributions, and benefits administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to move beyond data entry into financial review, reporting, and operational insight.
- Strong Excel skills, including SUMIFS, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables (Power Query is an asset).
- High degree of accuracy, ownership, and attention to detail.
- Curious and proactive mindset with a desire to continuously improve processes and reporting capabilities.
