Overview
We are seeking a skilled Residential and Commercial Electrician to join our team. This role involves providing expert electrical services for both residential and commercial clients, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, renovation projects, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from minor repairs and rough-in to complex installations, in a dynamic environment that values professionalism and attention to detail.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute projects accurately
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for wiring, conduit installation, and system troubleshooting
- Perform renovation work including upgrading existing electrical systems and installing new wiring
- Work with low voltage systems such as alarm systems, communication lines, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and electrical experience to determine appropriate solutions
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and industry regulations
- Assist with project planning and coordinate with clients to meet their electrical needs efficiently
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Proven 3 years experience in residential and commercial electrical installations and repairs
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Experience with industrial electrician tasks is a plus
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and other construction-related equipment
- Construction or renovation experience preferred
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting complex systems
- Handyman skills beneficial for versatile project support
- Ability to interpret technical schematics for various electrical components
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to electrical work and construction sites

Pay: $39.00-$41.00 per hour
