Stallion Express is urgently hiring for Overnight Warehouse Associates to join our fast-paced warehouse operation in our shipping department.
This is not a picking and packing role. The primary duties of this position are to scan, sort, process, load, and unload a high volume of shipments moving through our facility. Whether working manually or alongside our conveyor system, we're looking for efficient individuals who can work quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy.
This is a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment. Our operations do not stop until the last package of the day has been processed, so we're looking for dependable team members who are comfortable working late and staying until the work is complete.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 5:00 PM to Close
Sunday: 3:00 PM to Close
There is no fixed end time. Depending on shipment volume, shifts typically end between 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM. Candidates must have the availability and reliable transportation to stay until daily operations are complete.
Hourly Rate: $20.00 for the first 3 months. After a successful probation, you will be bumped to $21.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Scan, sort, and process a high volume of packages accurately and efficiently.
- Work alongside a fast-moving conveyor belt to keep packages flowing through the facility.
- Read shipping labels and ensure packages are sorted and routed correctly.
- Load and unload packages from trucks and company vehicles.
- Perform repetitive physical tasks, including lifting and moving packages up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain speed and productivity without sacrificing accuracy or attention to detail.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to meet nightly processing deadlines.
- Help maintain an organized and efficient warehouse operation.
Requirements:
- Must be available to work until operations are complete, which may be as late as 6:00 AM.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working quickly.
- Reliable, efficient, and punctual.
- Comfortable using scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Experience with conveyor belt systems is an asset.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Prior warehouse experience, in the shipping department is a strong asset.
- Must have consistent, reliable transportation to our Mississauga headquarters (Courtneypark/Tomken).
