Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter (Interior and Exterior) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial painting projects, with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards. The Painter will work on a variety of projects contributing to the transformation and enhancement of our clients' properties.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Utilize rigging techniques when working at heights or on scaffolding to ensure safety during exterior painting projects
- Perform carpentry tasks as needed for repairs or modifications prior to painting
- Manage time effectively to complete projects within scheduled deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate project details and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Must have own vehicle and driver's licence
- Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, or commercial painting environments
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, caulking techniques, and rigging procedures
- Strong understanding of restoration processes and construction site safety standards
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently with good time management skills
- Experience in carpentry or related trades is a plus but not required
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude toward client interactions
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
