Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cultivation Technician to join our team in maintaining and optimizing our cannabis cultivation operations. This role involves hands-on plant care, environmental management, and ensuring the health and quality of our crops. The ideal candidate will have a background in horticulture, mechanical skills, and a passion for gardening. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on sustainable cultivation practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist with irrigation systems, ensuring proper water delivery and system maintenance
- Monitor plant health and growth, applying horticultural best practices
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on cultivation equipment
- Manage heavy lifting tasks related to plant containers, soil, and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cultivation area
- Record data related to plant growth, environmental conditions, and resource usage using basic math skills
- Support transplanting, pruning, and harvesting activities as needed
- Follow safety protocols and environmental guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Prior experience in horticulture, gardening, or cultivation preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and mechanical tools is advantageous
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic math for measurements and data recording is beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a proactive approach to plant care
- Physical stamina for working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
