The Griffin Pub is looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team! We're a lively neighborhood pub known for our delicious food, craft beer and our welcoming atmosphere. At The Griffin Pub, we pride ourselves on serving classic pub favorites with creative twists. We're a busy spot, serving lunch, dinner, and late-night snacks to our friends in the heart of Muskoka.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to our recipes and standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Work efficiently and effectively during peak hours, managing multiple orders simultaneously.
- Under the direction of the Kitchen Manager, collaborate with back of house staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of food and supplies.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Follow all established safety procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a busy restaurant or pub setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure and in a high heat environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for food, creativity and a desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Ontario Food Handler Certificate.
