Monday to Friday
- Morning: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Evening: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Job Description
We are a private family in Keswick seeking a reliable and caring Home Child Care Provider to assist with the daily care of our 15-month-old child and light household duties.
This is a long-term, live-out position in a safe and respectful home environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for a toddler
- Engage in age-appropriate activities (reading, play, learning)
- Prepare and serve meals/snacks for the child
- Accompany child to daycare drop-off
- Maintain cleanliness of child’s play areas
- Perform housekeeping (dishes, vacuuming, laundry for child)
- Prepare simple family meals daily
- Grocery shopping
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of childcare experience
- Secondary school completion
- Valid driver’s licence
- Available for split shift schedule
- Ability to provide references
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
Language
- English required
- Portuguese is an asset
