Position Overview
We are seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and energetic Basketball Coaches/Trainers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience playing and/or coaching basketball and is dedicated to helping athletes improve their skills while fostering a positive and disciplined learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with basketball training sessions, camps, clinics, and team practices.
- Teach and demonstrate proper basketball fundamentals and advanced skill concepts.
- Develop players’ individual skills, decision-making, and basketball IQ.
- Create a positive, encouraging, and competitive training environment.
- Build strong relationships with athletes and their families through professionalism and effective communication.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during sessions.
- Represent MUMBA BASKETBALL with integrity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
- Previous experience playing basketball at a high school, collegiate, or professional level is preferred.
- Able bodied
- Previous coaching or training experience is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals, skill development principles, and game strategy.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passion for mentoring and positively impacting young athletes.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification and a Vulnerable Sector Check are assets.

At MUMBA BASKETBALL, we’re looking for coaches who do more than teach the game. We want mentors who can inspire confidence, instill discipline, and help athletes grow as players and people. Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
