We are seeking a talented and personable Beautician to join our salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and customer service, providing clients with exceptional hair styling and grooming services. The Beautician will also assist with retail sales and front desk duties, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling according to client preferences
- Be able to perform services such as facials, eyebrow threading, waxing, mani/pedis, and hairstyles.
- Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in compliance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication skills and personalized service
- Keep the salon environment professional, welcoming, and organized at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a beautician or hairstylist with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Knowledge of hair styling techniques, color application, and current beauty trends
- Strong sanitation practices to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining genuine client relationships
- Effective communication skills for engaging with clients and team members
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required
- Professional attitude, reliability, and a passion for the beauty industry
