Whiting Equipment Services Company Ltd. recherche un mécanicien de maintenance mobile / mécanicien d'équipements lourds, à distance, pour rejoindre notre équipe! En tant que candidat retenu, vous serez chargé de l'entretien et de la maintenance des équipements ferroviaires sur les sites de nos clients. Vos tâches quotidiennes comprendront la planification, le dépannage et la réparation, ainsi que la rédaction des rapports d'intervention nécessaires pour les clients. Au cours d'une journée type, VOUS devrez:
- Adopter en permanence des comportements de travail sûrs, respectueux de l'environnement et sains, conformément aux politiques, programmes et initiatives de Whiting en matière de santé et de sécurité
- Diagnostiquer les problèmes mécaniques et électriques
- Réparer et entretenir tous les équipements lourds dans le respect des normes établies
- Rédiger des rapports d'entretien et de réparation précis dans les délais impartis
- Entretenir d'excellentes relations avec la clientèle grâce à une communication régulière
- Accomplir les tâches requises pour répondre aux besoins des clients
Compétences indispensables pour ce poste:
- Un permis de technicien valide ou tout autre permis requis pour ce poste, conformément aux normes provinciales
- Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans la réparation et l'entretien d'engins de chantier, tant en atelier que sur le terrain
- Un permis de conduire valide.
- Les techniciens de maintenance portant la barbe ou la moustache ne sont pas admis sur les chantiers de certains de nos clients qui, pour des raisons de santé et de sécurité, n'autorisent pas la présence de techniciens portant la barbe ou la moustache.
- Casier judiciaire vierge obligatoire.

Whiting Equipment Services Company Ltd. is looking for a Remote Mobile Millwright / Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, to join our team! As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for servicing and maintain railway equipment on customer’s sites. Your day will include planning, trouble shooting and repairing, as well as, preparing necessary service reports for customers. We are looking for people who are interested in a diverse product range. In a typical day, YOU will:
- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Whiting’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems.
- Repair and service and all heavy equipment within the established standards
- Prepare accurate service and repair reports in a timely manner
- Maintain excellent customer relations through frequent communication
- Undertake assignments as required in support of customer needs
Must-haves for this role:
- A valid Technician License or any other license relative to this position, following Provincial standards
- Minimum 5 years of experience in repair and service of heavy equipment both in the shop and in the field
- A valid Driver’s License.
- Service technicians having facial hair, maybe require to be clean shaven for the purpose of correct respirator fit.
- Criminal back ground check mandatory.
Work Location 350, rue Joseph-Carrier, Vaudreuil-Dorion (Québec), with possibility of travel within Canada
Rémunération : 44,00$ à 51,00$ par heure
