Job Summary
Pentco is a Port Kells/Surrey based door manufacturing company that has been in business since 1979. We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to become part of our busy team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role involves assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting our products and services. Cross training in all internal divisions to allow for building a well-rounded team and a strong customer service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support: Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner in-person and over the phone.
Issue Resolution: Actively listen to customer concerns, troubleshoot problems, and provide prompt, accurate solutions.
Order Processing & Admin: Manage incoming inquiries, process sales and bookings, and maintain accurate records using our internal CRM.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Responding in a timely manner to customer inquiries via phone, email, ensuring a high level of service.
- Order entry, checking orders, filing, shipping instructions, Invoicing.
- Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues and enhance their experience.
- Collaborating with team members when needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about product knowledge and updates to provide accurate information to customers.
- Maintaining notes and personal reminders.
- Keep organized.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Self-driven, motivated and results oriented.
- Ability to work independently
- Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Minimum 2 years of prior customer service experience in an office setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to comfortably lift/carry up to 15 kg for light administrative and stock tasks.
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and basic database navigation.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and able to commute reliably to our Langley location.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Hours
Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm.
Wage is dependent on experience.
