Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks that support our operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Selective demolition in preparation for the renovation of buildings
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required
- Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks as needed
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements
- Previous experience in a labour-intensive role is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Basic knowledge of safety practices in a construction or industrial setting is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
- Must have drivers license and reliable vehicle.
