We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Equipment Operator / General Labourer to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting both crop and poultry operations, with a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and attention to detail.
Position Overview
This role involves operating agricultural equipment, assisting with daily farm tasks, and supporting maintenance and production activities. The ideal candidate is adaptable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment—especially during peak seasons.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate farm equipment such as tractors, skid steers, loaders, and implements
- Assist with planting, spraying, harvest, and grain handling operations
- Support poultry barn operations as required
- Perform general labour tasks including cleaning, yard maintenance, and material handling
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance and daily inspections
- Load/unload grain and assist with elevator operations
- Follow all farm safety procedures and biosecurity protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Work extended hours during peak seasons as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience operating agricultural or heavy equipment preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take on a variety of tasks
- Mechanically inclined; ability to perform basic maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and awareness of safety practices
- Physically capable of lifting and working in demanding conditions
- Valid driver’s license required
- Agricultural experience is a strong asset

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and being part of a productive agricultural operation. Compensation will be based on experience, with a performance review and potential wage adjustment after the first three months.
