Overview
Cleanfix North America Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technologist to support the integration of smart manufacturing technologies and automation into our production and product development processes. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, this role is a key contributor to both the engineering and manufacturing teams, with a focus on optimizing production workflows, and supporting the implementation of Industry initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Implement tools to support manufacturing automation, data collection, and process optimization
- Collaborate with other mechanical designers to integrate controllers , sensors, and embedded systems into Cleanfix products
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to manufacturing and equipment integration
- Support the design and deployment of custom applications for internal use (e.g., dashboards, testing tools, configuration utilities
Requirements & Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Experience with PLC programming is an asset
- Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience with manufacturing systems, automation, and lean manufacturing principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid passport and Ontario driver’s license; access to a reliable vehicle
- Willingness to be a long-term contributor and strong team member within a stable and growing organization

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
