Job Summary
We are seeking a Journeyman Welder with 10 or more years of experience in pressure welding and custom fabrication. This position offers long-term, stable employment for a highly skilled welder who is confident working to code and understands the quality requirements of high-spec industrial projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG, MIG, and SMAW welding on stainless steel, nickel alloys, and exotic materials
- Read and interpret complex blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Weld pressure-retaining components to ASME Section VIII, Division 1 standards
- Work with QA documentation, weld maps, and traceability systems
- Collaborate with fabrication teams to complete jobs on time and to spec
- Follow shop safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Qualifications
- Journeyman Welder certification (Red Seal preferred)
- Level B Pressure Welding Certificate (Level A is a strong asset)
- 10+ years of experience in a fabrication and pressure welding environment
- Proven ability to weld pressure vessels, piping spools, or structural assemblies
- Strong understanding of welding procedures and quality assurance standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to our Delta, BC facility
