Diesel Tech Services Ltd. is a Lethbridge, Alberta-based diesel repair company with a 10-bay service facility serving truck and fleet customers across Southern Alberta. The company provides diesel engine repairs and rebuilds, heavy-duty vehicle repairs, commercial inspections, diesel fleet maintenance, transmission servicing, and 24/7 roadside assistance.
We are looking to add a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic to our team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a skilled mechanic who is confident troubleshooting and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers in a fast-paced shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Perform engine and transmission repairs and related mechanical work
- Complete truck and trailer inspections in accordance with applicable standards
- Carry out maintenance and repair work efficiently and safely
- Maintain accurate service information and communicate clearly with the team
- Support shop operations and respond to overtime needs as required
Qualifications
- Fully licensed Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic
- Strong troubleshooting experience
- Hands-on engine and transmission experience
- Ability to perform truck and trailer inspections
- Class 5 Driver’s Licence required
- Class 1 Driver’s Licence is considered an asset
- Computer proficiency is considered an asset
Schedule
- Regular hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Overtime as required
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday every other week, with an alternating day off

- Wage dependent on experience
