Position Overview
Certified Red Seal Millwright role within a structured seafood processing facility. Responsible for mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repair, and plant support. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position requiring independent judgment and strong mechanical skill.
Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain production and utility equipment

Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime

Troubleshoot mechanical systems efficiently

Maintain ice machines, freezer systems, fish unloading systems, dock cranes, and cooled production areas

Weld and fabricate custom components as required

Support Operating Engineers with coordinated maintenance efforts

Perform and document routine equipment inspections

Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
Required Qualifications

Red Seal Millwright certification (BC Trade qualification)

Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience in industrial environment

Experience with pressure equipment, cooling systems, or refrigeration preferred

Welding and fabrication experience strongly valued

Experience in food processing or manufacturing considered an asset

Ability to work independently and collaborate with operations teams
