Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Carpenters to join our Post Frame building team. responsible for delivering high-quality craftsmanship across various projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in carpentry and related trades, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including residential, commercial, and restoration sites, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques to meet project specifications and safety standards.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project requirements
- Construct, install, repair, and restore structures such as framing, cabinetry, flooring, siding, roofing, and masonry elements
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, tile laying, drywall installation, and finishing work including painting and caulking
- Install plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and HVAC systems as needed
- Measure accurately using tape measures, levels, and other precision tools
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Assist in construction estimating and material ordering when required
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment may be necessary throughout the job site
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry or related construction trades such as woodworking or masonry
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
- Hands-on experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinetry installation, restoration projects, or manufacturing environments is highly desirable
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for various carpentry tasks
- Knowledge of electrical or plumbing systems is a plus but not mandatory
- Prior handyman experience or experience in construction painting can be advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed
This position requires a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic who values quality craftsmanship. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different project requirements. Prior experience with CNC machinery or construction estimating is beneficial but not essential. We welcome applicants committed to safety standards and continuous learning within the carpentry trade.
Pay: $21.42-$40.90 per hour
