Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MIG and TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, fabrication, and assembly processes, with a strong understanding of blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to produce high-quality metal components and structures, supporting our construction, ductwork, and manufacturing projects. Candidates should possess mechanical knowledge and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes safety, precision, and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on diverse materials according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Operate fabrication equipment such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, and power tools
- Use hand tools, calipers, and measuring devices to ensure precise dimensions and quality standards
- Rigging materials and components for fabrication or installation purposes
- Set up and operate machinery including cranes, forklifts, and machining tools as needed
- Assist with the assembly of fabricated parts into final products or structures
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to ensure adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures
- Support maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting, and general welding techniques
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes and machinery operation
- Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings
- Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, press brake machines, machining tools, hand tools, power tools, and ductwork equipment
- Knowledge of rigging procedures for lifting heavy components safely
- Familiarity with construction experience or manufacturing environments is a plus
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining safety standards

Pay: $20.30-$39.56 per hour
