POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for assembling, installing, aligning, maintaining, repairing, inspecting, dismantling, and moving machinery and equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Comply with and promote awareness of the Turnkey Modular Systems’ Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality policies and procedures.
- Perform millwright duties and ensure operations are operating smoothly.
- Able to utilize troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques including diagnosing irregularities and malfunctions, making adjustments, and repairing or replacing parts.
- Follow all lockout/tagout procedures as required.
- Must be adaptable and resourceful and show initiative, dependability, and innovation.
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Install and align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, and tanks according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
- Operate lifting devices such as cranes, jacks, and lift trucks to position equipment in a safe manner.
- Operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, and mills.
- Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools including welding equipment.
- Willing to travel to sites as needed for assembly of equipment.
- Must be a self-starter and team player.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experienced licensed 433a millwright / industrial mechanic.
- Experience rigging heavy equipment.
- Work well under pressure, follow all company procedures and policies.
- Understand OHS regulations.
- Proficient in TIG welding capabilities.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs.
- Overtime, weekends may be required.
- Required to use safety and personal protective equipment when on the production floor.
