As a Deckhand, you are the first face all of our customers will see. Whether that means you’re on the boats taking fares, helping customers find out where they need to go, directing people into lines, or loading our boats with passengers- you’re going to be interacting with 1000s of people every day in a fast-paced environment! It’s outdoors, on the water, and the perfect place for a people person!

Responsibilities & Qualifications
To be a Deckhand, you need to have the following certificates:
1. Small Domestic Vessel – Basic Safety (SDV-BS) - Can be acquired after starting
2. Valid First Aid (CPR-C, Marine first aid)

To be a Deckhand you need to have the following certificate: Small Domestic Vessel – Basic Safety (SDV-BS). However, it is not necessary to have it immediately as there is a grace period, and we will help you book the one day course.
A good candidate will be:
– Motivated, confident, personable
– A good multitasker, and can think/react quickly
– Comfortable with customer service- you will interact with hundreds of people a day!
– Positive, energetic, and excited to learn
– Used to fast-paced environments, like kitchens, cafes, and retail.
