Summary
We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Cutting Edge Consulting Inc. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate project cost estimates and supporting our commitment to quality and safety. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to our mission of elevating industry standards.
Responsibilities
· Completing quantity take-offs, sending RFQ’s, compiling complete estimates and proposals.
· Review tender and all associated documents and understand project and contract requirements and costs associated.
· Develop and submit quotations.
· Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
· Write accurate estimates for projects and scopes of work.
· Coordinate & estimate projects to consistently achieve a high degree of profitability.
· Manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
· Provide exemplary customer service to clients, employees, and vendors.
· Generate timely information and reports with accuracy and efficiency.
· Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
· Other related duties as per the Senior Estimator.
· Apply established Company policies and procedures, including safety procedures and principles.
· Create estimating schedules for maintaining and tracking, in order to have estimates out to clients on dates they required or is stipulated in RFP’s
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as MS Project and Bluebeam.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost assessments.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
