Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Kitchen Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the kitchen environment and be eager to contribute to efficiently running the back of house.
Duties
- Wash dishes, flatware, pots, and pans using both manual and automated methods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish pit and kitchen workstations
- Take out garbage and recycling and ensure waste areas are clean and safe
- Sweep and mop floors to maintain cleanliness standards
- Support chef team during busy service periods
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including food safety and sanitation procedures
- Help receive and organize deliveries
- Assist with basic food preparation and prep station setup as needed
- Perform other duties as required to assist the kitchen team
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is an asset but not required
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
