Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational performance. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Mechanic will play a critical role in minimizing downtime and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components on machinery and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during repairs
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems and recommend solutions
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules
Experience
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar maintenance role preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various types of machinery and equipment
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing settings is a plus
