We are immediately hiring for full time Yard workers. This is an entry level position
We will teach you all about timber material handling, shipping and receiving of it, all the extensive processes of the required preparation needed, along with the grading, order picking, and allocation of rough timbers to jobs.

Requirements:
- Punctuality and reliability
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Love working outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Self motivated persons who can work within a team or on your own
- Able to listen, learn, retain information, and put into practice
- Always Follow Safe Work practices
- Willing and eager to lean
- Chainsaw experience
- Forklift experience
Preferred but not required experience:
- Timber Framing or construction experience
- Forklift Certification
- Small sawmill (Wood Mizer LT-15 operation) or similar knowledge and experience.
- Some understanding of reading wood grain of all different species.
- Shipping / Receiving experience
- QR code labeling and scanning
- Moisture metre experience

Types of duties to expect:
- Grading, sorting, and palletizing of timbers
- Mobilizing all products with various types of forklifts
- Small sawmill work / assistance
- Shipping / Receiving
- Loading C-Cans and Flatbed trucks with finished products
- Chainsaw cutting
- Order Picking rough timbers and allocating them to projects
- Loading and unloading Kiln
- Driving Forklifts
Compensation:
- $ 20.00 - $30.00 / hr to start
- Extended Health, dental, and wellness packages after 90-day probation period
- Free company lunch on the first Friday of every month
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
