Island Foods & Freight is a privately owned, family-operated warehouse distribution and freight transportation company, located on Vancouver Island. With the main warehouse located in Port McNeill, Island Foods & Freight expanded into Campbell River in 2022 and is continuously growing their operation!
At the Port McNeill warehouse, we specialize in the sales of various food and beverage items, delivering to customers all over the North Island. In addition we provide freight transportation of perishable and dry freight for various suppliers. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond to provide excellent service to our customers, and we work hard with our team to achieve that.
We are excited to offer this position at our Port McNeill location: Summer Warehouse Worker.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for assisting in our warehouse in Port McNeill. That will mostly be picking customer orders, and putting away incoming shipments from our suppliers, but can include general cleaning, or any basic warehouse tasks assigned by management.
This position is great for a student, age 16+.
Requirements:
- Electric Pallet jack and forklift experience is an asset
- Ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team
- A friendly customer service presence
- Must be legally able to work in Canada and located locally in Port McNeill
Wage:
Wage will start at $18.25 per hour; it will depend on experience. The wage can be discussed at an interview.
