Journeyman Cabinet Maker / Installer & Millwork Specialist
Serenity Contracting & Design Inc. is an award-winning custom home builder and renovation company serving Edmonton and surrounding areas. We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Cabinet Maker / Installer & Millwork Specialist who takes pride in exceptional craftsmanship and delivering high-quality finished products.
What You'll Do
- Build and assemble custom cabinetry and millwork in the shop
- Install cabinetry, built-ins, and millwork on-site
- Complete finishing carpentry including trim, casing, baseboards, feature walls, and custom details
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
- Complete deficiency and warranty work as required
- Coordinate with project managers, trades, and homeowners
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism
What We're Looking For
- Journeyman Cabinet Maker certification or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years of cabinetry, millwork, and finishing carpentry experience
- Strong knowledge of cabinet construction and installation methods
- Experience with custom residential renovations and home construction
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Valid driver's license
- Professional, respectful, and team-oriented attitude
