We are a full service residential landscape company. Our crews work on property maintenance at large Estate Homes. We also have a softscape planting crew. We are looking for a candidate who can meet the physical demand required for the landscape PLANTING position available on the Soft Scape Planting Crew. Having knowledge of landscape construction materials and techniques would be an asset. This crew leaves from Uxbridge ON, just south of Leaskdale, ON. We are looking for a dependable team player with pro-active work habits and must be physically fit for digging, bending and lifting. Must pack a lunch and snacks & drinks daily.
Starting wages will be dependent on experience level.
Servicing: North York, Thornhill, Vaughan, King City and Oakville.
Position: Landscape Crew Labourer
The landscape crew works on tasks of planting Yews, Boxwood and trees, digging holes and trenches, unloading plant deliveries at job site. Loading the truck with plant material at the Uxbridge Shop. Planting of perennials, flowers, ground ivy.
Other duties include:
- Soil installation/removal with wheel barrel
-Pruning plant material
- Sod installation
Hours: Monday - Friday. The average work week is 40-50 hours. Arrival in Uxbridge shop at 7am-5pm. End of day times can vary.
Potential candidates are REQUIRED to have a VALID G DRIVERS LICENSE & clean driving abstract.
Full time: Season start mid March. Full time availability to mid December.
