Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier/Front Counter Attendant to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling food and beverage orders, and managing cashier responsibilities in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service at the front counter or dining area
- Take customer orders accurately using Micros POS or other point-of-sale systems
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change efficiently
- Prepare and serve food items according to safety and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front counter, dining area, and food prep stations
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper handling and sanitation procedures
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous
- Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- Prior experience in serving or cashier roles will be considered an asset

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
