Responsibilities
- Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
- Deliver outstanding customer service by actively listening to clients and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment
- Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded throughout their visit
- Assist at the front desk with appointment scheduling, client check-ins, and payment processing
- Support team collaboration by sharing knowledge, mentoring junior stylists, and fostering a positive work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior hairdresser or stylist with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility in hair styling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain styling options and maintenance tips
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon setting
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining genuine client rapport
- Experience with retail sales, front desk operations, and appointment management preferred
